Erbium Laser Resurfacing

What is an Erbium Laser Resurfacing?

The Erbium laser is primarily attracted to the water in skin. This causes a controlled removal of a very fine layer of skin. This laser is used to resurface the skin and help to reduce mild to moderate wrinkles, acne scarring, and pigmentation problems.

As a result of removing the superficial layers of skin, new collagen and skin are regenerated. This process leads to a reduction in wrinkles, and a more even tone and texture to the skin.

The Erbium Laser can be tailored in strength and done as a peel or as a resurfacing and deeper treatment. A series of three to five treatments is recommended for maximum results.
