Restylane requires minimal downtime, so most people return to their day right away. Some mild swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising at the injection sites is common and usually settles within a few days.
Volume is visible immediately, but Restylane takes one to two weeks to fully settle as swelling subsides and the filler integrates with your tissue. Any touch-up is typically assessed after this period.
Depending on the product and area, Restylane results generally last from about six months to over a year. Maintenance treatments keep your look consistent over time.
